The best VPN service in 2021

The best VPN – short for 'virtual private network' – is software traditionally used to help keep you anonymous online and virtually change your location. Once the preserve of the hardcore techy, they're now thoroughly in the mainstream, and millions of users worldwide are discovering there's more to VPNs than torrenting and staying private online.

They can allow users to access geo-blocked streaming content on sites like Netflix, secure your online banking, evade hackers and trackers, and even counteract ISP and government censorship. And now, almost all providers offers apps for just about any device, from Windows PC to Amazon Fire Stick.

The only problem is choosing the best VPN for the job – we're here to help you find a balance between speed, streaming, security and, of course, value for money.

Just want the best VPN service? Look no further

What is a VPN?

In its simplest form, the best VPN works by tunneling your connection through its own encrypted servers, which hides your activity from your ISP and anyone else who might be watching – including the government, advertisers and nefarious hackers. This also allows you to access restricted ivacy vpn lifetime subscription - Crack Key For U, stream a wider range of shows, and avoid network throttling.

For example, if Facebook or YouTube is banned at your school, you'll be able to access them through your VPN. If you're traveling to the UAE or China, you can use a VPN to access restricted sites and apps you use daily, like Gmail and WhatsApp. And, if you're on holiday anywhere outside your home country, you can use the best VPN to access the Netflix shows you love, as they may be unavailable overseas.

What's the best VPN?

The competition to be crowned best VPN gets tougher every day, but there's still a clear winner that's head and shoulders above the rest – ExpressVPN.

One of ExpressVPN's main assets is that it's incredibly easy to use on any platform – be it your phone, PC, or even PlayStation. It also performed well in our streaming tests, easily getting around the geo-restrictions of Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime Video – and, because it provides such swift connections, you'll be able to watch in HD or 4K just like usual.

To top it off, you'll also be covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee which means you can effectively test-drive the service and its 3,000+ servers for a whole month before you buy – you can find out all the details in our full independent ExpressVPN review.

Get an in-depth look at the best VPNs of 2021

In our latest round of VPN reviews, ExpressVPN confidently defended its spot as the best VPN on the market. And when you look at the facts, figures, stats and user experience, it's quite clear why.

First up, no matter what device you're using – iPhone, Windows PC, Amazon Fire Stick, or even a router – ExpressVPN is easy to download, nice to look at, and super simple to get up and running. While there's a lot of features under the surface, it's 100% plug-and-play, and perfect for VPN newbies and experts alike.

It also has Virtual DJ Pro 8_2021 Crack + Serial Keys Free Download Full the additional features you wouldn't want to be without. That includes a very reliable kill switch to cut your connection and avoid leaks if the VPN cuts out, split tunneling so that you can route some apps through the VPN and whitelist others, plus DNS leak protection, class-leading encryption, servers proshow producer full crack 2018 - Crack Key For U 94 countries, and a solid zero-logging policy.

ExpressVPN complements its excellent privacy credentials with great streaming performance, too – something that's increasingly important in today's market. Compared to every other VPN we've tested, ExpressVPN unblocked the most Netflix locations, and also delivers when streaming BBC iPlayer, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+ and many more.

This is even more impressive due to the fact Netflix has recently cracked down hard on VPNs, and while ExpressVPN was initially affected, it's bounced back much faster than any other service. Combined with great connection speeds, it's the perfect streaming companion.

However, there are a couple of minor reasons why ExpressVPN might not be for. Firstly, one plan only covers 5 simultaneous connections. That means you can only log in on 5 devices at the same time – although you can log in and out as you wish and have the VPN installed on any and all you devices.

ExpressVPN is also a little more expensive than the competition, but considering its unbeatable streaming performance and privacy tools – not to mention the stellar live-chat support and full torrent support – we think the slight extra outlay is worth it.

The best bit, though? Tom's Guide readers can now claim a free 12-month plan with cloud backup software BackBlaze on the 12-month plan. However, if you're not sure, ExpressVPN also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. So, in the unlikely case you don't like the service, you can claim a full refund.

2. NordVPN – Super fast and very secure

Specifications

Number of servers: 5,100+

Server locations: 80+ in 59 countries

Maximum devices supported: 6

24/7 live chat: Yes

30 day money back guarantee: Yes

Reasons to buy

+Excellent focus on security+Fresh security audit in mid-2020+NordLynx delivers incredible speeds+Tons of servers

Reasons to avoid

-Renewal prices are high-Some recent issues with Netflix

If you've heard of just one of the best VPN providers on this page, it's very likely to be NordVPN. With a massive presence that includes YouTuber plugs, TV ads and even sports team sponsorships, it's a brand that's not afraid of the limelight. Thankfully, it's not all ivacy vpn lifetime subscription - Crack Key For U, either.

As quite possibly the only VPN on the market with a chance of challenging ExpressVPN's dominance, NordVPN is well-rounded and does a ton of jobs very well. With a kill switch, all the basic protocols plus the WireGuard-based NordLynx, excellent encryption and seriously blistering connection speeds, it's a comprehensive package.

While we're not huge fans of the map-based interface, Nord's apps are stable and reliable, and within them you'll have the choice of over 5,100 servers in 60 countries. Plus, P2P is supported, and combined with extra privacy features like Double Hop and Onion over VPN, it's a great choice for those looking to stay under the radar.

In the past, NordVPN has been a reliable VPN for unblocking Netflix, but since the streaming site's change in tactics, results have been hit and miss. In our most recent testing we were able to access UK Netflix (as well as iPlayer, Disney+ and the rest), but unfortunately US Netflix was unavailable. While annoying, these results can vary day-to-day, so if it's something you're likely to rely on, you've got a 30-day money-back guarantee so you test it.

Otherwise, though, NordVPN is an excellent service and we're absolutely happy to recommend it to our readers – and it only misses out on top spot thanks to a couple of small issues, and the fact that the competition is so strong.

3. Surfshark – The best cheap VPN on the market

Specifications

Number of servers: 3,200+

Server locations: 100+ in 65 countries

Maximum devices supported: Unlimited

24/7 live chat: Yes

30 day money back guarantee: Yes

Reasons to buy

+Unlimited devices supported+Reliable connections+Longer plans are great value+Great for streaming

Reasons to avoid

-Apps aren't that in-depth-Netflix issues

If you're looking for absolute bang-for-buck, British Virgin Island-based Surfshark should definitely be on your radar. At less than half the price of some of its competitors while delivering comparable performance in many areas, it's a great choice for those looking to save their cash.

Surfshark's apps are simple and effective, but don't think they're underpowered. While they can't quite compete with the techiest of the bunch, you'll have a kill switch, over 3,200 server to pick from, split tunneling, and industry-standard AES-256 encryption.

If you've got tons of devices to cover, Surfshark stands out as well. While ExpressVPN offers 5 simultaneous connections and Nord offers 6, all Surfshark plans are absolutely unlimited. That means whether you've got 5 or 105 devices you want to install a VPN on, one Surfshark plan can do it all.

Unfortunately, however, Surfshark has been hit by Netflix's changes too, and currently it's only able to unblock US Netflix – not UK, Canada, Australia or others. BBC iPlayer, Disney+, and tons more streaming sites are available, though. Speeds are also a little down on the competition, but unless you've got a base connection of over 400Mbps, you won't notice any difference.

Overall, Surfshark is an excellent budget option, and when you consider its incredibly low price, any small issues it has seem to fade away!

We've always liked ProtonVPN as a hardcore privacy tool, but in our latest ProtonVPN review we saw huge improvements in terms of everyday usability and customer service – so much so, that the Swiss VPN has jumped from 9th to 4th in this guide!

Just about all of the issues we had last time have been addressed. The lacklustre connection speeds have been supercharged – WireGuard speeds are up there with the best, and thanks to the VPN Accelerator tech, ProtonVPN now delivers the fastest OpenVPN connections, bar none.

We were also disappointed last time that ProtonVPN didn't offer live chat support. Well, that's been sorted out too. While it's not 24/7 yet, this is reportedly coming the near future, and the service we received when we tested the chat was stellar.

ProtonVPN is also the only service other than ExpressVPN to be able to unblock more than one Netflix library in our testing, getting us access to UK, US, and Canadian libraries.

It's not all about streaming, though. ProtonVPN offers unique 'Secure Cores', which are ultra secure servers in safe countries like Switzerland. The apps are also powerful and stable on all devices (if a little complex), and features like the kill switch are some of the best around. For those that really value privacy, ProtonVPN is a great choice.

It's getting trickier ivacy vpn lifetime subscription - Crack Key For U the day to pick faults with Proton, but there are still a couple of sticking points. Firstly, while some servers do support P2P traffic, there are relatively few compared to the competition. Prices are also a little on the steep side, but sign up for 2 years and you'll get a decent deal, with a generous 10 simultaneous connections to boot.

Overall, ProtonVPN is very much on the up, and it's evident the devs are putting in some hard work rather than resting on their laurels – and thanks to that, ProtonVPN has become a service we can wholeheartedly recommend.

Private Internet Access is staying on its upward trajectory, and in our last two round of reviews we've seen the veteran provider find a new lease of life and begin to challenge the dogs once again.

Boasting quite possibly the biggest server network of any provider – PIA doesn't disclose numbers, but it's at least 10,000, and possibly over 35,000 – it's bound to to get you a good connection no matter where you are with no chance of overloading.

PIA is also quite capable for streaming, unblocking US Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and others. While WireGuard speeds aren't quite the best, PIA is still easily fast enough to stream in HD.

However, PIA really stands out when you get under the surface a little. Its desktop apps offer port forwarding – a relative rarity – and its kill switch is super reliable. Also, its proxy browser extensions are also very good, with updated tech that allows for faster browsing.

However, we're still waiting on PIA to deliver its independent security audit, so unlike some providers like Express, Nord and Proton, we have to take any privacy claims it makes on face value. However, PIA has a good track record, so we're not too sceptical.

If you're looking for one of the best VPNs that's both cheap and capable, Private Internet Access might be right for you.

CyberGhost has a feature-loaded, user-friendly interface, with convenient buttons in the Windows client software for streaming media, torrenting files, protecting your Wi-Fi transmissions and evading censorship – read our CyberGhost VPN review for more info.

Those streaming and torrenting netbalancer activation code - Free Activators are really useful, as it takes out the trial-and-error of testing individual servers to see if they work with Netflix and the like – and it's worth mentioning that the issues with BBC iPlayer we had last time have been resolved. While ExpressVPN's just always seems to work, individual servers of many other providers can drop Netflix support as they get detected, so CyberGhost makes it super easy to get streaming.

CyberGhost also delivers excellent speeds when using WireGuard, topping out at an incredible 860Mbps. That's fast enough for even uncontested corporate networks, so just about any user will be able to browse without impediment.

However, there are a couple of app issues, mostly to do with the kill swicth. While it keeps you protected, the app may display that you're still connected while cutting your connection. Also, the server load display has been cut, which was a neat feature we appreciated.

Otherwise, though, CyberGhost is still a top-class VPN that's definitely worth considering.

While it's probably best-known for its free VPN, our Hotspot Shield review found that its paid-for VPN delivers the goods too.

With its in-house Catapult Hydra protocol, Hotspot delivers reliable, swift connections. However, since the majority of the competition has introduced WireGuard, it's been overtaken as a truly fast VPN.

However, it's still fast enough to stream well, and it can unblock various streaming sites like iPlayer, Disney+ and Prime Video. A real drawback, however, is the loss of Netflix access. This is very changeable, though, so we'll keep this updated as and when we undertake more testing.

A very useful feature is full P2P support, so if you're a big torrenter, Hotspot Shield could be a good choice. Device support is wide, too, and apps across all platforms share the same clean interface.

Some very privacy-minded users may take umbrage with the fact that Hotspot Shield does undertake a little more session logging than, say, ProtonVPN, but in practice there's nothing recorded that can tie you back to your activity.

So, Hotspot Shield remains a solid VPN, but as the competition steadily improves it needs to keep up, or risks being left behind.

8. IPVanish – Fast, but a few lingering issues

Specifications

Number of servers: 1,900+

Server locations: 75+ in 52 countries

Maximum devices supported: Unlimited

24 live chat: Yes

30 day money back guarantee: Yes

Reasons to buy

+WireGuard speeds through the roof+Unlimited simultaneous devices+Live chat and phone support+Can now access BBC iPlayer

Reasons to avoid

-No access to Netflix or Disney+-Apps are infrequently updated

IPVanish is a US VPN that's been in the game for a long time, and it's widely regarded as a safe, reliable, and trustworthy provider. Seemingly designed for the more techy user, it boasts a bunch of useful additions and powerful apps that display all the data you could wish for.

IPVanish has only recently implemented WireGuard, but thanks to that update it's now one of the fastest services we've tested. Its OpenVPN speeds aren't quite as impressive, but most users will be using the new protocol anyway. 'Scramble' is an interesting feature that allows VPN use in countries like China, and while it's not quite as robust as other specialized China VPN services, it's still very useful.

We're also now able to unblock BBC iPlayer, but Disney+ is still a no-go. A big loss, however, is Netflix, and IPVanish simply can't unblock any library, anywhere in the world. We hope that this is addressed soon, but there are no guarantees.

For those new to using VPNs, IPVanish's apps could seem a little intimidating, just like ProtonVPN's. There are graphs going up and down, drop downs to select servers and locations, scrolling matrix-like numbers and a map interface (that, admittedly, is better than NordVPN's). For those who know what they're doing this is great, but for the greener user, it could all be a bit much.

On the topic of apps, IPVanish doesn't tend to deliver such frequent updates as its competitors. While they're stable, this does mean that new features are slow to arrive, and if there's something new on the horizon, it could still be months before it's introduced – just look at how long WireGuard took to arrive.

Overall, though, while it's lost a little ground on the top services, IPVanish is still well worth considering, especially if you're a fan of in-depth, techy software.

Speed performance: is Ivacy VPN fast?

Ivacy VPN's speeds will depend the most on your location and your chosen tunneling protocol. While you won't have problems with downloads, uploads rates can dip severely. So, if you're looking for more consistent speeds across the board, Ivacy VPN might not be your cup of tea.

    • Baseline: 1 ms, 300 Mbps download, 300 Mbps upload
    UK135265
    Germany271299
    US (NY)129134
    US (FL)106107
    US (LA)115191
    India86149
    Singapore387
    Japan12213
    Australia67192

The average download speed with OpenVPN UDP was 119 Mbps. It's considerably slower than IKEv2, leaving only 40% of my baseline speed. The upload is way better, though. I got three-digit numbers in all countries but Singapore and Japan.

Sadly, using OpenVPN TCP is almost impossible. While I got decent results in Europe, the next biggest download speed was 16 Mbps. The upload was nearly as bad as with IKEv2 – 10 Mbps or 97% slower.

The average download speed for IKEv2 was 177 Mbps, which is not bad at all. In terms of drop-off, Ivacy VPN left me with (on average) 59% of my original speed. Unfortunately, the upload results were atrocious, with the average speed being 6 Mbps. That's 98% slower than without a VPN. Even though upload scores are less important, you might have trouble with VOIP, not to mention a video chat when they are this low.

I could not test the performance with L2TP/IPSec, but that's probably for the better. After all, this tunneling protocol is outdated and probably shouldn't even be offered as an option.

The biggest issue with Ivacy VPN speed is the lack of the WireGuard protocol. Most of the time, it's much faster than any other option available. On the other hand, if your connection is slow, no protocol will help you stream in 4K or download large files in a matter of minutes. However, using a VPN can increase your speed if the ISP is throttling your connection, which is often the case with P2P.

To sum up, Ivacy VPN gives you above-average speeds. You can expect about a 50% drop-off from your usual Internet connection when connecting to a server on another continent. However, if you use any other tunneling protocol than OpenVPN UDP, expect a massive dropdown of upload numbers.

Streaming: can Ivacy VPN unblock Netflix?

Ivacy VPN has specialized streaming servers for different content platforms. Usually, that means you should have no problems while watching your favorite movies and shows. Unfortunately, that's not the case with this VPN.

    Netflix✔️ with US libraries
    BBC iPlayer✔️
    YouTube✔️
    DAZN

I could unblock Netflix US but not other libraries, even though the website promises six more. For some users, that's more than enough, but still, it's frustrating when you can't watch something that's exclusively available in the UK or Japan only. On top of that, the speed was too slow for evenHD video quality.

The same can be said about BBC iPlayer – I accessed it, but the performance was similar to Netflix. The connection times were also fast, but the webpage lagged at first. DAZN didn't work at all, even though I tried both the US and UK servers. On the bright side, I had no issues with YouTube and was able to stream in HD.

All in all, Ivacy VPN is not the best choice for streaming. While it can unblock more than a few platforms, that doesn't mean you'll be able to watch in HD, not to mention 4K, quality.

Is Ivacy VPN good and safe for torrenting?

Ivacy is a perfectly suitable VPN for torrenting, it allows P2P connection on all of their 800+ servers. However, just like with streaming, speed can be an issue. I was able to download at 4.5–5 MB/s (36–40 Mbps) with a baseline connection of 300 Mbps. Therefore, if your internet is slower, expect even worse speeds.

One thing is clear, though – torrenting with Ivacy VPN is safe. Thanks to military-grade encryption and a strict no-logs policy, there is no way that your P2P activities can be related to your account. Additionally, the Secure Download feature automatically checks the files for malware, providing extra protection.

Ivacy VPN doesn't offer a free SOCKS5 proxy, but you can use split tunneling on Windows and Android. It's not necessarily the most convenient, but it does the job.

    Ivacy VPN features

    Split tunneling

Split tunneling is a handy feature if you want to run only a part of your traffic through the VPN server. It allows you to choose which apps will use Ivacy VPN and which ones won't. You may want to do this if you need to unblock Netflix from another country and at the same time be able to use a local connection for low latency gaming.

Ivacy VPN split tunneling on Windows

This service allows split tunneling on Windows and Android devices. However, with the way it's implemented, you might think twice before starting.

The thing is, Ivacy VPN asks you to select all apps that will use the VPN tunnel (not the other way around). That can mean lots of clicks because there's no "Select All" option and no way to exclude a few apps. If that wasn't enough, there's also no way to reconnect or auto-connect, and the Android version would sometimes fail even to establish a connection.

    Secure Download

This antimalware feature is pretty unique because it concentrates on the data that you're downloading. It works in real-time and monitors for any potentially harmful software. This is an interesting approach and can really save your device in certain situations.

Is Ivacy VPN safe & secure?

While Ivacy is based in Singapore, this doesn't make this VPN unsafe to use. On the contary, IvacyVPN should be able to keep you safe online as it offers military-grade encryption. However, there are some concerns about lack of essential security features on some of their platforms.

    Encryption

Ivacy VPN uses the AES 256-bit cipher. That's military-grade encryption for you. So if someone decided to crack that 256-bit key, it would take more than a lifetime, even with the world's ivacy vpn lifetime subscription - Crack Key For U computer. Therefore, there's virtually no way someone could intercept your traffic and learn what and where you're downloading and uploading.

    Tunneling protocols

Just like most providers, Ivacy VPN offers you a number of different tunneling protocols to choose from. Let's take a look at each one of them.

OpenVPN is probably the most popular protocol in the VPN industry. There's a faster UDP iteration and a more stable and secure TCP option. Available on Windows and Android.

IKEv2 gives you fast connection times and better performance than OpenVPN. However, it's often supported only on some devices. Ivacy VPN has it on Windows, macOS, and iOS. However, they call it IKEV, which causes some confusion because there's also an outdated v1 version.

L2TP/IPSec is an outdated tunneling protocol. However, plenty of providers still offer it to their users. Ivacy VPN is not an exception here, supporting it on Windows and iOS.

All in all, this would have been a good selection a couple of years ago. Now, with the rise of the next-gen WireGuard protocol, one can only hope that Ivacy VPN has its implementation plans set for the near future.

    Kill switch

Another crucial feature, the kill switch disconnects you in case of a VPN failure. This way, your IP address, location, and other data doesn't leak.

Ivacy VPN kill switch on Windows

Unfortunately, Ivacy VPN doesn't have a kill switch on Mac and iOS. That's a big disadvantage, considering that they haven't been able to tackle this issue for years now. The feature works fine on Windows and Android, but sometimes I was left offline even after the VPN reconnected.

    Jurisdiction

In a best-case scenario, a VPN is registered in a country with no data retention laws and far away from the reach of the Fourteen Eyes intelligence alliance. That's not the case here.

Ivacy VPN is based in Singapore. This country is a Fourteen Eyes partner, meaning it shares surveillance data with the other members. Potentially, this may include sensitive data, such as your internet activity. But does this VPN have anything to share about you? Let's ivacy vpn lifetime subscription - Crack Key For U on to the next section and see.

    Logging policy

Luckily, Ivacy VPN is a no-logs provider. That means it doesn't monitor and doesn't keep any data about your connection or traffic. It's stated in their privacy policy. The only information it has is your email address and payment data. However, there's no way to link it with any of your online activities.

And since Ivacy VPN supports anonymous payments, you can get away without leaving any information about yourself. Therefore, unless you're a political activist or a journalist writing on sensitive topics, there's probably no need to look for a more private VPN.

    Servers and locations

On their website, Ivacy VPN states that they have 3,500+ servers in 100+ locations. Interestingly, when you count the servers in each region, you get just 800+ servers in 50+ countries. Considering that the same misinformation is on the price page, I find it a bit hard to believe that this is just a mistake.

All servers are streaming and torrenting-friendly, which is great, considering the total numbers aren't awe-inspiring. Of course, it's the quality, not the quantity, that matters most. However, Ivacy VPN doesn't own all of their servers and is yet to implement the RAM-only approach.

    Visit Ivacy VPN

Let's start by saying that Ivacy VPN is very cheap. Even its monthly plan costs two or three dollars less than what most competitors charge. Furthermore, the annual plan has a huge 63% discount – you'd need to commit to NordVPN for twice as long to get a similar deal.

If that wasn't enough, Ivacy VPN has a 2-year deal for $2.45/month and a 5-year option for $1.33/month only. One would be hard-pressed to find a three-year deal nowadays, so if you really like this service, don't think twice and sign up long-term. You'll get a 30-day money-back guarantee which should be more than enough time to reconsider.

Ivacy VPN doesn't have a free version, but you can try the full version for one day. If you need more time, there's an option to get one week for $0.99 but be careful with this one as it automatically switches to the annual plan after the deadline. All plans come with 10 simultaneous connections.

    Ivacy VPN payment options

There's a number of payment methods available. You can use credit cards, PayPal, BitPay, Coingate, PerfectMoney, WebMoney, and many others. Most importantly, there are numerous ways to pay anonymously without leaving a permanent statement on your credit card.

    Interface and ease of use

Ivacy VPN offers good compatibility. It has apps not only for major platforms but for Android TV and Amazon Fire devices as well. There are also browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Finally, you can manually configure Ivacy VPN on Linux, routers, and Kodi.

    Desktop versions

    Windows and macOS

Just like it often is, the Windows version of Ivacy VPN has the most features. The Mac client lacks a kill switch and split tunneling. While you could live without the latter, the former is crucial for the protection of your IP and location in case of VPN failure. I was also surprised that you can toggle IP/DNS leak protection, which should always be on by default.

    Ivacy VPN settings on Windows

Ivacy VPN uses a medium-sized window with all options available under different tabs on the left sidebar. For example, the second tab from the top allows you to turn on malware protection with Secure Downloading. There you'll also find specialized streaming servers, account settings, and so on.

Using the apps is easy but not extremely so. For example, you have to disconnect from the server before you can change the location. The same goes for any tweaks in your settings.

    Ivacy VPN mobile apps

Once again, the iOS app is lackluster. Your only option is switching from IKEv2 to the outdated L2TP/IPSec protocol. But when it comes to general look and feel, both clients are pretty similar.

    Ivacy VPN for Android

The Android app gives you split tunneling, multi-port (open port scanner), and protocol selection (UDP and TCP). Just like the other clients, it also allows choosing servers according to your purpose, which can be streaming, secure downloading, or unblocking.

To sum up, Ivacy VPN mobile apps are easy to use. However this partially stems from the lack of features.

    Browser extensions

Ivacy VPN offers browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. These are lightweight options for a quick IP change while browsing and not much else. However, I liked that the icon changes to the flag of the country you've connected to, which is convenient and informative.

The Chrome add-on has been downloaded just over 30,000 times and is currently rated with 3/5 stars. Its version name "0.14.0" doesn't look too promising as well, although the last update dates back to January 2021.

    Ivacy <a href=McAfee WebAdvisor Offline Installer Chrome extension" src="https://media.cybernews.com/2021/02/Ivacy-VPN-Chrome-extension.png" width="324" height="494">

The only two options available are Bypass Proxy and Prevent WebRTC leak. I recommend having the latter turned on all the time. The former is a split tunneling feature.

    Customer support

Ivacy VPN has good 24/7 live chat support. I've contacted them multiple times and got connected to an agent right away. They answered most of my questions swiftly, but it took a couple of hours to solve it when I had a more serious connectivity issue. On the other hand, It may have gone quicker if I had agreed to let them use my computer via TeamViewer.

Additionally, you can submit a ticket – they are also check these 24/7. If you feel uneasy when other people help you, Ivacy VPN has a Support Center with step-by-step guides, FAQs, video tutorials, and sketchup free download with crack 64 bit - Free Activators address in Singapore for an old-school vis-a-vis conversation.

    Video review

    Ivacy VPN video review

Is Ivacy VPN any good and worth getting?

Ivacy VPN is good, but not amazing. It uses military-grade AES-256 encryption, has a couple of useful features, collects inpixio photo studio 10 trial - Free Activators logs, and its speeds are above average if you’re lucky. In addition, the tool supports torrenting (even though the speeds might be inconsistent).

On the other hand, it lacks the WireGuard tunneling protocol, there’s no kill switch for Apple devices, and no application for Linux.

And when it comes to streaming, you would expect more than just Netflix US from a service with dedicated servers. Even though other content platforms are available, watching in HD can be tricky due to the same performance issues – or at least that’s been my experience.

Sometimes while writing this review, it seemed to me that Ivacy VPN stopped improving things a couple of years ago. Let’s hope this changes in the near future.

    Ivacy VPN Review

Ivacy is a VPN service headquartered in Singapore. The company has some of the most competitive prices on the market, above-average global server allocation, and dedicated hardware for streaming and P2P sharing.

Winning the 2019 ProPrivacy Award for Best Speed and being the runner-up for Best Value and Best Overall, this VPN has earned tech experts’ respect. Besides being the pioneer of split tunneling, Ivacy has a straightforward privacy policy, showing its users what data is and isn’t collected.

Other Ivacy VPN reviews have raised the question of who’s pulling the strings behind this mid-sized operation. The real Ivacy VPN owner remains unclear to this day. But we found that it has links to the Pakistani organization Gaditek, whose co-founder is the CEO of PureVPN.

At one point, the company introduced its CEO as Mr. Saad, which could be PureVPN’s Growth Marketing Strategist. Currently, there’s no mention of this executive or any other management team members on its website.

Regardless of why it hasn’t been forthcoming about its structure, what matters is how it promotes internet freedom and keeps its users’ sensitive data private. And that’s what we’ll focus on in this Ivacy VPN review.

    Ivacy VPN Features

Here are the basic features you can expect from Ivacy VPN.

    Unlimited Bandwidth

You can use this VPN with no limitation. It lets you stream, download torrents, access blocked sites in your country, and safely use unsecured Wi-Fi networks as much as you want.

    Ten Multi Logins

With one Ivacy subscription, you can connect up to ten devices at once. Unfortunately, there is no option to increase this limit, and there’s no family plan available.

    Internet Kill Switch

The Internet Kill Switch cuts your internet connectionthe moment your VPN service drops to protect your privacy. Another user-written Ivacy VPN review said that this functionality improved significantly over the years.

Our Ivacy VPN test found that this feature was automatically activated only on the Android and Windows app.

    Split Tunneling

You can choose to use your VPN on certain apps only. This way, you can get to enjoy both accessible and locally restricted content at the same time. Split tunneling also helps minimize speed reduction because less data has to travel to a remote server for encryption.

    Smart Purpose Connection

Picking the right service is essential for maximum performance. Smart Purpose Connection makes it super easy to identify suitable VPN servers by categorizing them into three purposes: Streaming, Downloading, and Unblocking.

    Auto Connect

Your VPN automatically launches when your device restarts. While it’s primarily present in the Ivacy mobile app, you can also enable it on your desktop.

    Multi-Port

Multi-port scan for open ports and connects to the fastest, while avoiding those that may slow your internet speed.

    Bypass Proxy

Available on the Ivacy Chrome extension, this feature stops you from connecting to proxy servers. You can access proxy-blocked sites and prevent your traffic from getting redirected to malicious URLs.

    TV Login

This QR code scanner is the key to open the Ivacy VPN TV app. By using it, you can access otherwise restricted content from major streaming services.

    Ivacy VPN Advanced Features

Apart from its basic features, Ivacy offers two add-ons to enhance your digital experience.

    Dedicated IP

Ivacy can support you with a unique static IP address, which is more secure and trustworthy than shared ones. You can choose an Ivacy VPN dedicated IP address from the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, Germany, Hong Kong, or Singapore for $1.99 per month.

    Port Forwarding

For only $1 per month, power users can benefit from Ivacy VPN Port Forwarding. It allows you to remotely access your computer, boost your downloads, view your surveillance cameras, and intensify your defense against Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks.

    Ivacy VPN Servers and Locations

The information about the number of Ivacy servers is inconsistent. While the company mostly states that its global fleet is over 3,500-strong, that number surprisingly doubles upon checkout.

There are Ivacy VPN servers in no less than 100 locations across 77 countries—156% higher than the industry average of 30. Covering 34 nations in Europe, 20 in Asia and the Pacific, 11 in the Americas, and 7 in Africa, this network is well distributed. Do note that virtual servers make up about a quarter of the service’s fleet.

The problem is that you can’t access all VPN servers across the board as only 34 countries and territories appear consistently. Overall, Ivacy for mobile has the most extended Ivacy server list with 66 countriesand territories, followed by the Windows 10 app (53) and the browser extension (48).

The Ivacy server list by city (unavailable on the Ivacy Chrome Extension) doesn’t include all towns in every Smart Defrag 7.0.0.62 Crack + Serial Key Full Free Download 2021 accessible on the apps

    Ivacy VPN Speed

We have to agree with almost every other Ivacy review: this VPN isn’t going to outperform the industry leaders in terms of speed anytime soon. That being said, it’s fast enough to handle basic online browsing.

We initially connected to Ivacy’s UK and US servers from our headquarters in Central Europe, and we saw speeds around 70Mbps. In our third speed test, we tried the Australia servers – it dropped to 15Mbps on average.

    Ivacy VPN Privacy and Jurisdiction

Ivacy is based in Singapore, one of the four prominent collaborators with the Fourteen Eyes Alliance. That means the Singaporean government historically shares intelligence with the following countries:

    • US

    • UK

    • Canada

    • Australia

    • New Zealand

    • Denmark

    • France

    • The Netherlands

    • Norway

    • Germany

    • Belgium

    • Italy

    • Sweden

    • Spain

VPN usage doesn’t break any law in Singapore, but the authorities police the internet relentlessly and don’t hesitate to take down sites when necessary.

Fortunately, Ivacy has a no-log policy. This VPN doesn’t monitor or keep records of connection logs and times, online browsing activities, originating IP addresses, IP assignment histories, traffic data, and DNS queries.

The details Ivacy gathers are user names, email addresses, and payment credentials for account creation and customer outreach. The company records chat and email correspondence but deletes data of inactive users every 12 months.

    Ivacy VPN Security and Protocols

To prevent data leaks and cyber attacks, Ivacy implements the following security measures.

    Military-Grade Encryption

Ivacy uses 256-Bit encryption, which is one of the most secure forms of encryption out there. It makes your data as unhackable as classified government documents.

    Multiple Protocols

Ivacy supports OpenVPN (TCP or UDP), L2TP, IKEv2, PTP, and SSTP. These protocols are responsible for creating secure tunnels to keep traffic data private. The company claims to use a Stealth protocol, but there is no mention of Ivacy VPN WireGuard.

As each protocol offers a unique combination of speed, encryption level, stability, and device compatibility, having a lot of choices can enhance your streaming, torrenting, and browsing experience.

    Virus and Malware Protection

Ivacy uses cutting-edge technology to identify and delete malicious code when downloading files.

    IPv6 Leak Protection

This feature helps prevent your IP information from leaking and keeps third parties from spying on your online activities.

    DNS Security

Ivacy encrypts your DNS requests through its own DNS servers to hide your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

    DDoS Protection

Ivacy’s state-of-the-art infrastructure can safeguard you from cyber attacks that aim to disrupt your internet traffic to paralyze your online activity.

    Prevent WebRTC Leak

Available on the Ivacy VPN extension, this feature keeps your actual IP address a secret.

    Ivacy VPN Leak Test Results

Our tests revealed that Ivacy was reliable in keeping our data secure as we discovered no IP, DNS, or WebRTC leaks.

    Ivacy VPN and Streaming Services

No Ivacy VPN review goes without mentioning that this service is built for streaming. And we couldn’t agree more. Ivacy has an extensive arsenal of streaming-optimized VPN servers that can unblock dozens of streaming platforms.

On Start Streaming, you can select a server to connect by channel or country. If you choose the former, this VPN will automatically conceal your IP location and run your streaming app or site.

How Good Is Ivacy VPN for Torrenting?

Ivacy not only has servers designed for P2P sharing, but it also provides sophisticated layers of security to detect and remove threats in downloaded data.

This VPN also prevents bandwidth throttling. To avoid any guesswork, you can select virus and malware protection, leverage P2P-optimized VPN servers, and use your favorite torrent sites in peace.

    Can Ivacy VPN Bypass Geo-Blocks?

One of the best uses for Ivacy VPN is getting around geo-restrictions. The service is available in China, Oman, Russia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates; 50% of the countries that currently ban VPN usage or heavily regulate it.

If the regular app can’t penetrate the Great Firewall of China, you can try Ivacy Prime instead. Compatible with Android and Windows, this alternative app has limited functionality and requires a paid subscription. It has Smart Connect for instant server connection, Social Connect for non-Chinese social media access, and Channels for streaming.

The only other things you can do on Ivacy Prime is active multi-port, change server locations, and adjust the language setting.

    Ease of Use

Ivacy VPN Windows 10, mobile apps, and browser extensions have a familiar look and feel like leading VPNs. You can easily navigate it and find the main features on the primary screen. By default, the setting is on Automatic and will connect you to the fastest server near you.

The Purposes tab features three categories (Start Streaming, Secure Downloading, and Start Unblocking) to narrow down your server options based on your intentions. The Locations lab lets you search for servers and add them to your favorites.

All features are revealed by clicking the triple bar at the top right corner of the screen, including Internet Kill Switch and Split Tunneling.

Although its design is slightly different, the Windows app shares the same features as its mobile counterpart. On the primary screen, it has a toolbar on the left with icons for Smart Connect, the trio of Purposes options, Dedicated IP, My Account, Settings, and Help.

All three versions of Ivacy are intuitive, so we doubt that novice VPN users will struggle to navigate them.

    Customer Support

Ivacy offers different support ivacy vpn lifetime subscription - Crack Key For U, including a live chat, email support, and a knowledge base.

The live chat is available 24/7 and provides immediate answers. Email is understandably less responsive but will give long-form replies between 30 minutes and three hours.

Ivacy’s Support Center answers the most frequently asked questions about the software and its features. This ever-growing knowledge base provides links to video tutorials.

    Ivacy VPN Price

This VPN never fails to turn heads because of its highly competitive pricing. Following are Ivacy’s subscription options.

    • One month – $9.95/month
    • One year – $3.50/month
    • Five years – $1.33/month

To put things into perspective: a five-year Ivacy subscription costs less than one-year plans of the top VPNs, such as ExpressVPN, NordVPN, and SurfShark. Students and apprentices can get more savings through Student Beans and Youth Discount.

If you want to try the VPN first, you can get a one-day free trial. But if you need more time to experiment, we recommend signing up for a paid seven-day trial ($0.99). This trial unlocks all premium features, is non-refundable, and auto-renews to an annual plan if not canceled.

Ivacy offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. Although it doesn’t cover the one-month plan, other subscriptions are refundable within seven days

    Ivacy VPN Review – Verdict

Our Ivacy VPN review confirms that while Ivacy is secure, it’s not incredibly fast. But since it works with streaming platforms without interruption, you probably wouldn’t complain.

We love that this VPN showed no signs of leakage of data, but it would’ve been nice if the leak protection tools ivacy vpn lifetime subscription - Crack Key For U been enabled by default.

If you don’t mind using a VPN company that likes to preserve its privacy, Ivacy’s insanely cheap ivacy vpn lifetime subscription - Crack Key For U plan is a steal. But if you’re uncomfortable with the brand’s secretive management, this service may not be for you.

Fear it or trust it, Ivacy does what it’s supposed to do—and does it well.
